As well as the main hospital, CMC has an extensive range of community outreach services and specialist departments on other campuses –
  • Psychiatry and longer-term physical rehabilitation (Rehabilitation Institute) on the Bagayam Campus, which also has the community hospital CHAD;
  • Schell “Eye” Campus has the Ophthalmology Department and the Low Cost Effective Care Unit which cares for the slum dwellers. Nearby is the Shalom family medicine out patient clinic for the residents of Vellore.
  • Rural Unit for Health and Social Affairs, a community hospital near Gudiyattam;
  • Chittoor new campus, Andhra Pradesh, has an outpatient department
CMC was founded in 1900 by Dr. Ida Scudder, who set the pattern for selfless, dedicated service to the needy. CMC is accredited with the NABH and NABL.
