Student Electives

(Foreign students – MEDICAL, NURSING & ALLIED HEALTH)

Elective Students coming to CMC Vellore:

Foreign Students are accepted for study throughout the year. After application, you will be contacted by persons from the respective office of the Principal / Dean and advised as to the next steps.

Some of you may contact clinical, non clinical and Research Departments directly and make your own arrangements. However, please be advised that all Foreign Students in the Health Care field coming to Christian Medical College, Vellore are required to be registered with the Institution. The ‘Visitor’ is required to have a valid and current passport, a valid visa and follow the laws of the land which includes registration with the local police. THOSE COMING FOR ANY TYPE OF INTERNSHIP/ TRAINING/ STUDY INCLUDING ‘STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES’ WILL REQUIRE A STUDENT VISA.
