3. CHRIS CARD

• What is a CHRIS CARD?

          CHRIS CARD is a patient ID card used for all payments in CMC&H Vellore.

          One patient, One card.

• Why should I transact through the Chris card?

          You can make your payments online through Mobile app system.

          Doctor can make your payments, if required balance is in your CHRIS CARD.

          You can pay in your OP Floors using CHRIS CARD. You can avoid long queue.

 

• Will my money be safe in CHRIS CARD?

          Yes, your money is safe because your Chris Card can be used only by you and for you.

          Keep your password secret to avoid misuse.

 

• Can anyone use my CHRIS card?

          No, One patient - one card. Your relative cannot use your Chris Card because it is password protected.

• Where can I load money in CHRIS CARD?

          Chris Card can be loaded with cash in any of the KIOSKS (self-operating machine) or any Cash Counters,

          Net Banking-You can transfer your amount from your bank account to your Chris Card

 

• Where can I get the CHRIS CARD refund?

          All ground floor cash counters in ISSCC Building(Rs 2000 and below)

          106 CARE Section-‘24*7 refund’-Main building 1^st floor (above Rs2000).

          Refund KIOSK machine near 402(CHRIS CARD CENTRE) ISSCC Building.

• If my CHRIS CARD is lost where should I report?

          106 CARE section- located in Main Building 1^st floor.

          CHRIS CARD CENTRE – located in ISSCC building ground floor near 402.

• Do I have a privilege over other cash paying patients?

          Yes, your payments will be quick and easy. You have separate counters for CHRIS CARD payments. The queue is less in these counters.

 

• I am an old patient of CMC. Where can I get the new CHRIS CARD?

          Please approach CHRIS CARD Centre- 402, ISSCC Building Ground Floor with your old hospital number.

 

• If I have any query regarding CHRIS CARD, whom should I contact?

          For queries regarding CHRIS CARD, Please approach CHRIS CARD Centre- 402, ISSCC Building Ground Floor.

5. What is Net banking?

          Net banking is a facility for CHRIS card patients to Top up the card from your personal bank account to CHRIS card.

          If your money is deducted from your personal bank account but not credited to CHRIS Card please mail to accounts_banking@cmcvellore.ac.in

6. What is Online payment?

          When the doctor orders tests and appointment online. You can use the online payment option to pay instead of standing in the queue.
