The health scenario in our country is spiralling downwards, accelerated by the ever-increasing gap between the rich & the poor. A third of the global poor now reside in India (456 million Indians/41.6% of the total Indian population live on less than $1.25 per day) and the resulting malnutrition forces them to succumb to common infectious diseases that pose no threat in other parts of the world.

Where are the Christian health professionals who are willing to get involved, willing to meet the desperate need of the underserved areas?

"Lord, Let my heart be broken with the concerns that break your heart. Let my intention become action. Let the love that I profess for my fellow beings created in your image, find expression in sacrificial obedience..”
