To cater to the needs of its growing numbers of patients, in 2011, CMC Vellore branched out its services in an exclusive hospital campus at Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh.The Chittoor Campus has been providing secondary healthcare services to communities in and around Gudipala, Andhra Pradesh. Over the years, the campus has evolved into a centre that brings together clinical care, research, community outreach, and training, contributing to stronger and more accessible healthcare across the region.
The hospital at the Chittoor Campus has 16 departments and has added two new clinics in the recent past – Haematology & Hand Surgery.
Outreach
The campus serves more than 50,000 people across Gudipala Mandal through its walk-in and referral clinic, which has provided care to 4,039 patients and 3,339 staff and students. In addition, 18 outreach clinics have extended healthcare services to a further 4,014 patients.
