18. SPIRITUAL LIFE

Faith and prayer are integral to CMC, and there are many
opportunities for Christian worship and fellowship. Services
are held regularly in the chapels at the Hospital and the
College. The Hospital chapel is open round the clock, and
chaplains are available for counselling.
During the week, Christian

There are also several other local churches offering services
in English.
There are regular St. John’s Church area fellowship
meetings in homes on both the Hospital and the College
campuses; visitors are always welcome.
Volunteers are also encouraged to join in the Hospital
and the College Chapel choirs. Contact the Chaplaincy
department for information about rehearsals or practices.
The Chaplaincy Department maintains libraries at the College
and the Hospital. The Hospital Library is open Monday
to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to
5.30 p.m. Saturday hours are 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
The College Campus library is open on Mondays and Wednesdays
from 5.00 p.m. to 6 p.m. The collection offers a variety
of titles for leisure and for serious reading.
