The Second Wave hit Vellore and its neighbouring districts much harder than anyone had anticipated. With the hard lessons learned in 2020, and with the support of friends and well-wishers from around the world, we were able to deal with the tremendous challenges and pressures that it posed -  not just to our patients and our staff, the healthcare workers, but to the institution as a whole.
