The following clinical departments will function from Ranipet Campus - Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Urology, Nephrology, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Trauma Surgery, Medical Oncology and Pulmonary Medicine. The department of Radiation Therapy will function at the CMC Town Campus as well as in Ranipet Campus.

Information regarding payment for making appointments


FOR PRIVATE PATIENTS 


Revised rates as of PAYMENT


New appointment

First visit to hospital and the very first or brand-new appointment. 
(Patient ID card with the hospital number will be given at this time)

If you do not have a CMC Hospital number, and are visiting CMC for the first time, the 'New Private Patient' charge is Rs 870/-. 

This includes Consultation fees (first consultation with the specified consultant) and the hospital number card.

Repeat appointment

Same unit and within 90 days (3 months) of taking the first appointment .

The Consultation Fees paid for Private consultations is valid for 3 months, i.e. every visit to that consultant made within the 3 months has only a revisit fee.



Rs 350/-


Repeat appointment

First visit to a different unit or department by referral or by choice  (even if within 3 months)

If the patient wants to see another consultant, a separate Consultation Fee of Rs 700/- has to be paid for that consultant.

Subsequent appointments to the new department or unit (for 3 months)

The same re-visit fees of Rs 290/- applies for new departments and units for each visit within 3 months.

After 3 months has passed, a renewal consultation fee has to be paid. Currently, the 'Once-in-3-months' fee is Rs 700/-.

Therefore, for private patients:

1. If you do not have a CMC Hospital number, and are visiting CMC for the first time, the 'New Private Patient' charge is Rs 900/. This includes:
a. Consultation fees (first consultation with the specified consultant) 
b. Hospital number card  

Note: After this first visit, the re-visit to the same consultant will be Rs 320/- . A visit to another consultant will be Rs 750/-.
Note: Each consultation fee is valid for 3 months from the time of that visit. During these 3 months, each revisit to that consultant will be Rs 320/-. Once the 3 months period lapses, the 'Once-in-3-months' fee has to be paid (presently Rs 750/-).

2. If you already have a CMC Hospital Number, and want to see a Consultant as a private patient:
2.1 If you are seeing the consultant for the first time, or visiting a previously-seen consultant 3 months after last payment of the consultation fees (New consultation/ Renewal consultation): Rs 750/-
2.2 Seeing a consultant within 3 months after paying the consultant fees (Repeat appointment/ registration):  Rs 320/-

  • Psychiatry and longer-term physical rehabilitation (Rehabilitation Institute) on the Bagayam Campus, which also has the community hospital CHAD;
  • Schell “Eye” Campus has the Ophthalmology Department and the Low Cost Effective Care Unit which cares for the slum dwellers. Nearby is the Shalom family medicine out patient clinic for the residents of Vellore.
  • Rural Unit for Health and Social Affairs, a community hospital near Gudiyattam;
  • Chittoor campus, Andhra Pradesh, has an outpatient department
